February 10 2014 marked the end of an era for Reckon as they ended their longstanding contract with Intuit. The end of this contract means Reckon is no longer allowed to use the QuickBooks name. Instead, the product formally known as 'QuickBooks' in Australia and NZ is to be called 'Reckon Accounts'.
So, what does this mean for Mobileezy users? Aside from remembering to say 'Reckon Accounts' instead of 'Quickbooks' there will be no effect.
As Reckon Accounts has been developed using the same source code as the QuickBooks product, the seamless integration between Mobileezy and QuickBooks will continue as usual between Mobileezy and Reckon Accounts. Effectively, Mobileezy users working with QuickBooks will experience no consequences as they transition over to Reckon Accounts.
Furthermore, as a Reckon development partner, Anigo Systems will continue to develop Mobileezy to operate effectively with Reckon Accounts into the future.
