A big thank you to everyone who contributed to our War on Bugs. A few dedicated customers managed to uncover new bugs and send in details and examples during the past month, and our developers are happily working through them. Thank you! We're pleased to say that as a result of these bugs being uncovered, updated versions of Mobileezy will be available shortly to everyone on support. I think we can call this a successful result.
I should make special mention of the problems we have had with rounding errors. We found three or four quite separate bugs affecting different parts of the system. Some customers had no problems, others had quite a few. We think we've fixed them all, so if this was affecting you make sure your software is updated to the latest version (including for both desktop and handheld), and please let us know if you have any further problems.
Now we would like to announce our Making Mobileezy Better campaign. The idea is for you to contribute suggestions for small changes and improvements that will make the Mobileezy software easier to use or more useful to your business. We're looking for places where you say "if only...". We're looking for annoyances, awkward workflow and poor user experience. We're looking for things you think are not quite right, even if they're not really bugs. We're looking for places where shortcuts and accelerators could really help. You're the users, and you're the best people to tell us what you need.
There are a couple of conditions at this stage. One is that suggestions need to be of benefit to a number of users, not something specific to a single customer. The other is that they need to be reasonably small changes. We're aiming to improve the overall software quality for the benefit of all our customers rather than add major new features that suit only one or two.
So please give it some thought and let us know what you would like to see. You can send them in to support by email as usual, and we'll let you know what we're able to do. If you do have ideas for great new features we'd like to hear about those too, but it may take us a bit longer to get to those.
